Cast and crew members for the HHS Production of this year's One-Act.

One Act Play Takes Second at Conference

On Tuesday, November 20, the cast of “The Shakespeare Project”, Holdrege High School’s one act play, competed at the Central 10 Play Production Contest in Aurora.  Grand Island Northwest received the first place trophy with Holdrege getting second.

Holdrege also had seven actors receive outstanding acting awards:  Haley Gabriel, Chorus 1; Jeff Olson, Mark Antony; Bethany Knipp, Katherina 1; Celeste Ehrenberg, Katherina 2; Jared Buskirk, Petruchio 1; Gavin Skiles, Petruchio 2 and Nurse; and Jonathan Larson, Hamlet. 

Other schools competing were Crete, York, Columbus Lakeview, Seward, Aurora, and Schuyler. 

District competition will be in Holdrege on Friday, November 30 beginning at 9:00 a.m.  All performances will be at The Tassel.
