Holdrege High Student to Participate in Wesleyan Honor Band

Holdrege High Band student Haley Gabriel was called to participate in the prestigious Nebraska Wesleyan University Honor Band after earning an alternate position. This three-day musical honor band will feature the most talented high school musicians across the state. The conductor Mark Camphouse is a well-known composer and Professor of Music at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. As a special part of the event Professor Camphouse will conduct his own composition of “A Dakota Rhapsody”. The honor band will take place February 7 - 9 and culminate in a Saturday evening concert at Wesleyan University in Lincoln.
