Kindergarten Roundup Is Near!
Registration is beginning for 2008-09 school year

It's already time to begin thinking about the 2008-09 school year, especially if you have a child who is eligible to attend kindergarten! Kindergarten Roundup is being planned for the three attendance centers of the Holdrege Public Schools. Roundup will be held at Franklin Elementary on Tuesday, April 1; Washington Elementary on Wednesday, April 2; and R-7 Elementary on Thursday April 3.
Children who will be five years old by October 15 are eligible to attend kindergarten and are invited to attend Roundup. During Roundup, the students will visit kindergarten classrooms while parents complete registration information.
All registrations for Kindergarten Roundup are being handled at Washington Elementary. Please call 995-4339 if you wish to register your child for one of the Roundup sessions.
When attending Roundup, parents are encouraged to bring their child's current immunization record and a certified copy of the birth certificate. A certified copy is identified by a raised seal and is issued by the department of health in the state of the child's birth.
