Holdrege Band Members Participate In Central Conference Honor Band

Six Holdrege High School band members were selected to participate in the 2008 Central Conference Honor Band on Monday, March 17 at Seward High School in Seward, NE.

Michael DeJonge, Alyssa Macke, Haley Gabriel, Tiffany Hartwell, Blake Dunaway, and Eric auditioned and were selected to participate in the eighty piece ensemble. The band began rehearsals in the morning and continued all day until the evenings featured performance. They were led by Professor Doug Bush. He is the Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
