Brittany Smith Places 2nd in Spelling Bee

Brittany Smith, an 8th grader, placed second at the Phelps County Spelling Bee on March 11th. She was one of eleven spellers to make it to the oral spelling round. Four other HMS students also made it to the oral round. They include: seventh graders, Bailey Williams and Courtney Milius and eighth graders, Shayne Heger and Taylor Ritter. Brittany won a trophy and a $50 savings bond.
