Aaron Davis Speaks to Area Students

On Wednesday, April 2, Mr. Aaron Davis was a speaker at two assemblies organized by Holdrege High School. Aaron is a former UNL football player who was on the 1994 National Champion team and a graduate of UNL with a degree in Psychology. He has become a well known speaker, not only in the region, but throughout the United States, presenting to educational and business groups about positive attitudes helping you to achieve your goals.
Aaron spoke during two sessions (10:45am and 1:00pm) for students at Holdrege High School and Holdrege Middle School. Area schools were also invited to bring in kids for Aaron's enthusiastic blend of humor and insight. The purpose was to get them thinking about the choices they make and how those choices impact not only themselves, but also those around them. Other schools accepting the invitation that day were Axtell, Bertrand and Wilcox-Hildreth. The presentation focused on upcoming celebrations at a school year's end. Aaron also addressed the topic of loss and friendship to those affected by the recent passing of a classmate.
Aaron's positive outlook and tremendous enthusiasm gave all the students and faculty some powerful things to think about as they approach the end of another school year. Thanks to Aaron Davis for two great presentations!
