Sherry McClymont
1968 Holdrege High School Graduate
Sherry has enjoyed
drawing all her life and started painting after she and her
husband,Richard, married. In Gothenburg, while the children were
small, she painted acrylic watercolors, (she relates that oil and
small
children don't mix well,) and participated in the art guild there.
Acrylic is still her medium of choice.
Sherry’s graphic design business, The Studio, made use of her creative juices for 15 years! Now Sherry is making time to paint and enjoying it so very much.
“I seem to be unable to paint on just one canvas anymore!!!” This is an acrylic piece made of five 5"x5" canvases entitled "Summer's Swell". The painting works horizontally, but could be hung in any configuration.
My husband, Richard, and I have lived in Holdrege for 28 years and have four children: Tyler, Alex and wife, Adrienne and granddaughter Ella Anne, and Spencer all live and work in southern California and Allison is in Lincoln.
Value of Summer's Swell - $150.00
