Jewelry Experience: Always loved jewelry and wanted to learn to design my own, so I took a class in the fall of 2006 by a local well known jewelry artist. I have been making jewelry ever since which has become my “therapy”. I work with different sorts of elements including: Sterling silver, silver plate, gold filled metals; Turquoise, coral and other semi-precious gemstones; Czech glass, German- vintage, hand pressed glass; Austrian crystals, Swarovski crystals; Pearls and clay.
Every piece of jewelry is handmade and one of a kind. Some pieces are elegant, some whimsical, some patterned, and some patterned by random. I make Mother’s, Grandmother’s & Children’s bracelets, along with themed “faith, spiritual & friendship” bracelets. I often like to hide a heart or one unique bead in each bracelet. Packaging includes an air tight bag with a color coordinated card to match the bracelet. A spiritual element can be used if one chooses, by selecting a variety of words of encouragement or bible verses that are prepared and may be secured to the color coordinated card.
My goal is to make Victorian jewelry, using vintage jewelry pieces, ribbons and antique buttons.
If it my prayer that each person that wears my jewelry will be blessed as much or as more than I was, in making it!
