McKenzie Coulter became interested in art at a very young age. She carried that concentration into High School where she explored many art classes under Christy Kosmicki. As she began college she was majoring in Pre-Dentistry, but as she continued to create art, she soon realized that she wanted to further the one thing she truly loved doing. During her second semester as a freshman at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln she switched her major to Art Education K-12. During the Fall of 2008 she will begin her student teaching in Houston, TX.
