ELKS TEENAGER OF THE MONTH - Seniors!  Application forms are available in the Guidance Office or download here.  You can fill out the application on the computer before printing it out.  Applicants are judged on scholarship, character, leadership, service and citizenship.  Selected Monthly.  A "Teenager of the Month" student will be selected for each month, September through May.  At the Elks banquet in May a cash award and certificate will be presented to each months winners one boy and one girl, and a special cash award to the "Teenager of the Year" selected from the boy and girl "Teenager of the Month."

CENTRALCOMMUNITY COLLEGE "STUDENTS AT A DISTANCE" SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - The Central Community College Foundation has designated ten $400 scholarships for the 2008-2009 school year.  The applicant must be seeking a degree or diploma through Central Community College and taking courses at a distance.  The applicant must have successfully completed 6 credit hours of courses delivered at a distance (i.e. Individualized, Satellite, Video/IP, or Web-based) through CCC during the Summer 2007, Fall 2007, or Spring 2008 semesters and maintained a GPA of 2.5.  The recipient must be a high school graduate or equivalent and enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours) during both, the fall and spring semester, 2008-2009.  Three of the six credits in each semester must be courses delivered at a distance in order to be eligible for the scholarship.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office and must be received by Central Community College by May 15, 2008.

UNL's ALPHA GAMMA NU ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP - The Alpha Gamma NU Fraternity is offering scholarships in the amount of $500 to young men who will be freshman at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.  This scholarship recognizes young men from Nebraska who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Applications are due May 31, 2008

DELTA TAU DELTA INTERNATIONAL FRATERNITY is offering the "2008 Committed to Lives of Excellence" Scholarship to outstanding male or female students who excel in the areas of scholarship, leadership, athletics, and community service.  By applying for this scholarship you are not committing yourself to membership in Delta Tau Delta or any other Greek-letter organization, nor is membership required to be a recipient.  Five one-time book scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded to high school seniors.  Any student entering a college or university with a chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity in the Fall of 2008 is eligible to apply.  Applications are available online at www.delts.org.  Application materials must be postmarked or submitted online by June 1, 2008Note: this is a separate scholarship from the one offered at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
