"Just Another High School Play"
HHS Drama Department ready for spring production

The Holdrege High School Drama Department will be presenting “Just Another High School Play” by Bryan Starchman at The Tassel on April 18th and 19th. In the play, the director’s worst nightmare has come true. No one in the cast or crew is prepared for opening night! The director, too embarrassed to stick around, has left the cast to see what they can come up with. This proves to be a challenge since no one, not even the stage crew manager or assistant director, knows what play they are supposed to be doing. The students then grab a box of scripts and throw something together. What follows is a hilarious show full of sight gags, interesting “re-writes” of famous plays such as “The Christmas Carol” (will the real Tiny Tim please show up), “Our Town”, and “Little Women” to name a few, along with a slightly inaccurate historical review of the history of theatre that would make the Greek playwrights shudder.

Crew members include: Emily Amen, Rachel Beaudette, Andrew Bergman, Shawn Elliott, Madison Guthrie, Gray Pearson, Blake Rademaker, and Caleb Schoneman.
