Mr. Brestel to Attend Workshop at Cornell University

Holdrege High School physics teacher Tom Brestel has been selected as one of twenty physics teachers nationally to attend a summer workshop at the Center for Nanoscale Systems at Cornell University in Ithaca New York. The two week workshop includes lectures by Cornell faculty, hands-on laboratory activities, content designed to update high school teachers on recent advances in physics. Topics of study include, atomic-scale imaging, integrated circuits, and X-ray diffraction of biomolecules.
