Rachel Berreckman is finalist in Digies Video Competition

Apple Computer held their 6th annual Digies video competition this year. Holdrege Middle School's computer applications instructor, Don Kosmicki, submitted 5 digital video projects that his students created, and one made it to the finals. Rachel Berreckman entered a digital story entitled Forever Friends. Her story was nominated for a Digies award in the 7th through 12th grade open category. There were over 500 entries in several categories and only about 100 received nominations. The students that received a nomination were invited to attend the award ceremony held in Lincoln on April 19th. You can check out Rachel’s digital story as well as all the other entries at the
