Garbology
First graders make paper

UNL Extension Educator Linda Dannehl recently visited Franklin Elementary School to do the "Garbology" project. The first graders made paper by recycling used paper from the office. They are continuing to learn about the three Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle and the benefit that it has for our Earth.
This lesson was a wonderful follow-up after our recent field trip to the landfill and recycling center. Thanks Mrs. Dannehl!
