Creative Dining Breakfast and Lunch Programs

Food matters - that’s the motto of the new food service provider, Creative Dining Services. We believe that the right food creates the fuel that helps students learn and live. Holdrege Public Schools and Creative Dining Services have joined in a partnership that will help create a dining environment that will generate a nutritional foundation that your children can enjoy. This partnership will be called Holdrege Public Schools Dining Services.
Breakfast
Food Matters for Breakfast because we believe it is the most important meal of the day. Promoting a nutritional start to your child’s day will help them concentrate on the task at hand—LEARNING. Prices: Paid Students: $1.15, Reduced Price: $.30.
Lunch
Food Matters for Lunch because we believe it provides the fuel that will hold your child for the remainder of the day and the activities that follow. Our lunch program will offer a wide variety of choices at all levels. We believe by letting students try the diversity of food early will encourage them to make better food choices in the future. All students will have the opportunity to enjoy the garden fresh salad bar. Prices: K-4 Paid Students: $2.10, 5-12 Paid Students: $2.30, Reduced Price: $.40
Seconds
Food Matters because we don’t want your child going away hungry. All students including those on the free and reduced program, may purchase an extra entrée. For example, if a student wants a second entrée then that can be selected in the lunch line and charged to the student’s account. Each student will have a school lunch debit account. Parents will need to send a check to the school secretary so that your student can purchase school lunch and breakfast, the District will not allow students to charge against their accounts. Notification of low account balances will begin at $10.
Questions
Food Matters because you will have questions about the food your child will be eating. When these questions arise please feel free to contact the Food Service Manager by calling the High School office or stop by the office located in the kitchen in the High School and she will be happy to visit with you.
