Holdrege FFA Chapter Receives National Recognition

The Holdrege FFA Chapter recently learned that the chapter will be recipients of high honors at 81st National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN October 22-25th. The Holdrege Chapter will be recognized as a National Three-Star Chapter along with eleven other FFA Chapters from Nebraska. Of the over 7,700 FFA Chapters only 310 chapters were recognized as National Three Star Chapters this year. This rating is based on the overall ranking of the National Chapter application, which is a detailed report of the FFA Chapter’s activities for the past year in the areas of Student, chapter, and Community Develop activities. Only the top 10% of all chapters at the State level can compete at the national level for these awards. This is the first time that the Holdrege FFA Chapter has qualified for the National Ratings. The Chapter will be recognized at the 81st National FFA Convention this fall in Indianapolis, Indiana during the National Chapter Awards Ceremony. Chapter members should be proud of this high achievement level. To be recognized as a National Three Star Chapter is a unique honor that only comes from hard work, planning and dedication of its members and supporters.
