Town Hall Meetings Held
Facilities needs to be topic of discussion

A series of town hall meetings have been scheduled to address facilities issues in the Holdrege Public Schools. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss facilities issues facing the school district. The second meeting will be held at Holdrege High School at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25th to discuss 5-12 facilities needs. An additional meeting on Pre-K-4th grade facilities will be held Thursday, August 28th at 6:00 p.m. at Franklin Elementary.
The first meeting was held at Washington Elementary on Monday, August 18th to address the Pre-K-4th grade facilities. Patrons, school board members and administrators heard architect Jim Berg of Bahr, Vermeer, Haecker discuss the results of a facility audit and teacher facility survey. Patrons toured Washington Elementary, had the opportunity to ask questions, and completed a survey to identify priorities in addressing needs..
