High School Media Specialist
Trent Benjamin is the media specialist for the high school. Mr. Benjamin is a graduate of Holdrege High and the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He has finished his Master Degree in Instructional Technology with a media emphasis and is currently working on a Masters in Administration. Trent was an elementary teacher for eight years at Loomis, Axtell, and R-7. In 2005, Mr. Benjamin became the media specialist for the Holdrege school district and is in charge of the high school media center. His duties include teaching NovaNet for credit recovery and plays a key role in the school's NEMA testing. He is also the varsity head coach for the girls’ basketball and boys’ golf teams.
