| The Holdrege Schools are responsible to provide a free and appropriate public education to all resident children from age of diagnosis to 21 who have been verified as requiring special education services. This responsibility is required through Title 92, Nebraska Administrative Code, Chapter 51 and Chapter 54. Special services are available through the public schools for all children with special education needs in areas of: speech and language impairments; hearing impairments; visual impairments; mentally handicapped; specific learning impairments; traumatic brain injuries; multiple handicaps.
